Jabir Radiyallahu ‘anhuma narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said: “Knowledge is two of types: 1. Knowledge that penetrates to the heart; this knowledge is beneficial. 2. Knowledge that is merely on the tongue; this will be Allah’s evidence against the son of Adam. (Targhib)

Knowledge on the tongue refers to the knowledge without practice and sincerity.
